The training DVD ‘Torch It: Destroy the Evidence’ was made in two parts. It was firstly pure drama involving three youngsters who stole a car, broke into a house, set a fire in the house and later set the car on fire.

All this was done to destroy the evidence. The second part examined the story again from an investigator’s perspective and broke it down into scenarios that revealed how the evidence should be preserved.

This second part also related to the fire service and sought to help the Police and Fire Service understand each other’s role in arson investigations and evidence preservation. This was distributed UK wide.
