(To be updated)
This year we celebrate 20 years in video and film production. A time for celebration you would expect. Unfortunately the present world financial difficulties have caused the postponement of three major productions for 12 months but still we move on. However, we were delighted to hear in January that we are part of the Prince Michael International Awards for Road Safety Initiatives given to Bedfordshire County Council’s Road Safety Team for their “Passport for Life” programme. We produced the DVD that accompanies the passports for all children from 4 to 16.
It seems this year, shorter productions are being considered by Clients and we have produced several 5 to 10 minute programmes on a range of subjects including the environment, academic lectures and construction planning.
The first part of the year has seen the completion of two important Health and Safety productions aimed at the dangers to pedestrians and drivers on distribution sites. Late Spring sees a major production related to sport and August and September is devoted to shooting an historical series . Plus, we expect more of the shorter productions for the corporate, training and education sector for both DVD and Web Site distribution plus Free-Sat channels.
Technically we are now working fully in 16:9 and HD with ‘Boris’ graffiti now running on our Avid editing system.
Despite the credit crunch, the team remain optimistic and on the strength of 20 year’s experience, still provide a film and video production service that in every respect cannot be beaten.
