The Survival of Tri-ang Hornby

The Tri-ang Hornby range started in 1964 when Tri-ang took over the failed Hornby Dublo model railway system. The new name of Tri-ang Hornby was simply a combination of the two systems that had been rivals to this point.
The 1960s was a difficult time for the hobby with much competition from other influences during this ‘swinging’ era. However, Tri-ang Hornby survived and this DVD explains how with careful marketing and economical production methods, the model railway hobby moved into the 1970’s far healthier.
The DVD explores the range and features fine layouts displaying the imaginative model range. There are interviews with key collectors and decision makers at the time and a number of the significant models are examined in details.
Reviews of the DVD sing its praises and anyone who had a model railway in the 60’s will enjoy this feast of nostalgia.

Each DVD sells at £20.00 plus £2.50 p/p. There are special deals for the purchase of the range.
